Magnolia Pointe Overview

Magnolia Pointe is a large condominium complex on the north end of the city of Myrtle Beach. Most of the residences in this popular development have golf course or lake views. The first buildings were completed in 1999 and the last new condos were sold in 2007.  It was built in two phases (see site plan under the “Floor Plans” tab on this page). Phase I buildings have 3 stories and Phase II buildings have 4 stories. Included in the two phases are over 865 condominiums. 

Magnolia Pointe borders Myrtlewood Golf Course and is part of a larger group (including Magnolia Place and Magnolia North) which is sometimes referred to as Myrtlewood Villas. It was the most recent of the three to be built and includes some features the others don’t have such as concrete slabs between floors and elevators in all buildings. All residences also have 9ft ceilings or vaulted ceilings. Magnolia Pointe has two and three bedroom floor plans and they vary slightly depending on which phase they are in and when they were built (Click on the “Floor Plans” tab on this page). Garages are clustered in separate buildings from the condos and are separately deeded. They can be sold independently but are most often sold along with a condominium. There are far more condos than garages so this is a sought-after combination. There are a total of 6 pools in the development.

The condominiums at Magnolia Pointe are popular for a number of uses - primary residences, vacation rental properties, annual rental properties, and true second homes. The development is approximately a mile from the beach. It’s an easy drive and the north end of Myrtle Beach has a number of convenient public beach accesses. Some residents even take their golf carts. It’s also very close to Broadway at the Beach, Restaurant Row and the downtown Myrtle Beach Boardwalk area.
